Auction/Movie Night is coming on Friday, April 6. If you haven’t been to the auction/movie night before, let me fill you in. The auction will be set up in the Gym. Not only will you find lots of gift certificates, student art projects and items to bid on, but there will also be a scrumptious dessert bar with live music playing. We’ll operate a little differently this year having silent auction tables close at different times as well as a live auction. While the parents shop and nibble on dessert, the children are welcome to attend either a movie in the cafeteria or older children are welcome to mingle and play games in the media center.
Many thanks to the generous donations from businesses! Here is a list of just some of the donations that we will be bidding on that evening.
With all of this fun planned we need lots of volunteers to help execute the vision. There are opportunities to volunteer the day of the event or work from home to help plan the event. We’ll also need some bakers and candy makers to whip up descendant desserts, a few volunteers to help create classroom art projects to be auctioned, and lots of help acquiring donations. Whew, I’m getting tired just typing this! But as you know, many hands make light work, so please contact Cinnamon Albin at 503-551-6791 or our volunteer coordinator, Berri Leslie at(503) 508-9361 to help out where you can.
